About Us

Our Mission

Dyvosvit School and Childcare is a private Ukrainian child care center in the Greater Cleveland area licensed by Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

We are located in St. Vladimir's Cultural Center on Marioncliff Drive in Parma. Our school is not just a daycare, we are a childcare facility specializing in quality early childhood education and development.

Our Teachers

Our teaches have multy-year succesful experience of teaching at the School of Ukrainian Studies and a Ukrainian Preschool in Cleveland.

My name is Volodymyr Bodnar, and I sincerely welcome you to the virtual home of our Dyvosvit School and Childcare.

I graduated with honors from the Zhytomyr State Institute with a degree in Physics and Mathematics (Zhytomyr, Ukraine), continued my studies at the graduate schools of the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv, Ukraine) and in the Chemical Physics Interdisciplinary Program at the Institute of Liquid Crystals of Kent State University (Kent, Ohio). I have a Philosophy Doctor degree in Chemical Physics (2005).

Since 1996, I worked as a teacher, and in 2002-2022 served as director of Taras Shevchenko School of Ukrainian Studies in Parma, Ohio. In 2019-2022, I have served as the President of the Executive Board of the Educational Council - UCCA, the main headquarters of schools of Ukrainian studies in the United States.

I like to read and watch science fiction. Among my other favorites - computer programming for automation and optimization of processes; genealogy, including genetic one.
